it would look better with a higher res texture. also the eges of the texture look ruf. and the cars shadow... um... shouldint have the white near the eage of the car. its braking up the shadow

This was a real spur-of-the-moment idea, so I didn't spend much time looking for higher res images to use, but I wish I had now. They are very very pixelated and rough. Would have been a nice idea to do better quickmasking as well (the front bumper especially). As far as the car's shadow, I had nothing to do with that. This is one of the basic templates from the Skin a Scion contest, and I was too lazy to try and add a background or do most of the other things the ACTUAL potential winners have done.. lol

I looked at the stock imig of that car, and i was suprised you could see the end of the shadow from the other side of the car. theres no way you should be able to see the far side of the shadow like that under normil circumstances. When thay took the pic, they must of had a light almost shining under the car. Or it could be that the company made an artificial shadow with photo editing software.

Yeah, I believe they took the photos, removed all background, and added in their own shadows for the templates. I actually just submitted another one (used a bit higher res images for it as well as spent some more time masking everything.) Its still got its flaws of course because I'm not the type to sit around for hours on end for something like this, but it is a bit better quality overall. Possibly because of the theme.. [link]

thanks, I'm pretty sure this one, my advent children scion xa, and the kingdom hearts xa I'm currently working on won't be eligible (supposedly it has to be original designs and images made all on your own), but I enjoy doing them in my free time.
